CLUB RULES
GENERAL
Cars to be parked in car parks
Members or day tickets only
Membership and day tickets to be carried at all times and produced upon request
NO blocking of any footpaths and be respectful to members of the public
NO swearing, discrimination, or abuse towards Bailiff’s other anglers etc
Fishing from numbered pegs only and NO stalking on all ponds
Members cannot reserve pegs for themselves or other anglers
NO fish to be culled, removed or transferred between ponds
Do NOT interfere with notice signs, safety aids or cut trees and branches etc
DO NOT attempt to drill or screw into any of the plastic fishing pegs on club waters
NO Bivvies or stoves on plastic fishing pegs on club waters
LIDO-Maximum 2 rods all year unless 3rd rod membership has been purchased
MEADOW FARM-Maximum 2 rods with Extra seasonal 3rd rod FROM 1st Nov-1st March
LODGE-Maximum 2 rods all year
All Junior fishing is a maximum of 2 rods
NO fly fishing
NO wading
Day time fishing open from 1hr before sunrise and closes 1hr after sunset
All rubbish to be disposed of in appropriate bins or taken home
Pre-baiting on Meadow Farm and Lido ONLY and use of bait boats on the LIDO only
Micro or barbless hooks only
NO fishing over or in lily pads
All anglers must have their own landing net with carp and pike anglers requiring a 30” + net
No loud music, Alcohol in moderation with zero tolerance to drug use
Children under 12yrs must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times
MEADOW FARM - 10m maximum distance from active rods
All anglers to carry and use Fishcare with fish being returned to the water ASAP, supporting the fish in the water until it has recovered sufficiently to swim off on its own
Fish to be handled on bended knee and NO sacking of any fish
NO fixed death rigs in any form of fishing
Committee/bailiff’s reserve the right to check rigs at any time
NO keepnets on any of the clubs’ waters
All landing nets, weigh slings, unhooking mats etc MUST be completely dry before use to protect our waters from KHV
NO lighting of fires allowed on club waters. Cooking apparatus must be raised off the floor and not leave scorch marks
NO fake baits
LIDO - 1 angler only per platform peg
CARP FISHING
30” + landing net along with large unhooking mat, beanie or cradle. A4 sized folding unhooking mats are NOT acceptable
Safe lead systems only that will drop the lead if needed
If particle baits are used, ensure that they have been pre-soaked and thoroughly cooked for the required time. If unsure how to prepare particles safely then ONLY use commercially prepared baits
NIGHT FISHING
Night members only who held the previous year’s day membership
2 nights on Meadow Farm (9 anglers) and 1 night on Lido only (4 anglers)
All sessions to be pre-booked with all cancellations being reported otherwise 1 month suspension will apply
Junior night members MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian
Bite alarms MUST be used and preferably receiver
Bivvies or day shelters only, Maximum size 2 man with NO tents
Maximum 2 persons per bivvy with 1 non angling guest permitted
No gatherings
Consideration for residents at all times
PIKE FISHING (1ST Oct-14th Mar)
Wire traces at all times
Dead baits and lures only with NO live baits
30” + landing net with large unhooking mat, beanie or cradle. A4 sized folding unhooking mats are NOT acceptable
Anglers to carry large forceps & long nosed pliers
NO gloves to be worn when handling pike
THE COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CLOSE PONDS, SUSPEND FISHING ALONG WITH PERMANENT OR TEMPORARY SUSPENSIONS OF MEMBERSHIPS
